| Staff at Gillian Campbell Estates are still celebrating after receiving the coveted Bangor Business Award at the prestigious Bangor Business Awards Gala Evening at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel. The atmosphere was electric and staff, clients and friends all celebrated when the company received the Best Small Business 2007 award at the event sponsored by the Northern Bank and arranged in tandem by Bangor Chamber of Commerce and Bangor & Holywood Town Centre Management. Colin Barclay the master of ceremonies, on announcing the winner, remarked “I knew this would be a popular and noisy one!” Winners of the awards were chosen by the independent judging & mystery shopping company Spotcheck who have been assessing all the competitors over the last two months. Chris Campbell, Partner, commented “I am absolutely thrilled that all the time and hard work Gillian, myself and our staff have put into the company over recent years has been acknowledged. We have strived to achieve the highest levels of customer service for our clients and I am extremely pleased that this has led to us winning this award” When asked about winning the award Gillian Campbell said, “With plans for expansion underway this award could not have come at a better time. We have invested heavily in recruitment and staff training, revamping the business, integrating new technology and using innovative advertising and web design. This kind of recognition is very warmly welcomed.” On the question of how all the recent changes at Gillian Campbell Estates had been implemented the partners commented, “We couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our many long standing clients who have shown us fantastic commitment over the years notably MAR Properties, the NIHE, Anglo Irish Bank and the R&A Group of Companies. We greatly appreciate the advice of John McMaster and Jim Henry at the Northern Bank who have been assisting us grow the business. We would particularly like to thank the design team of Ray Devine & Damien Green at Octagon for their sterling work on the business revamp and all of our recent advertising.
